Italy’s number one premium sneaker brand is available in South Africa!

Okay sneaker heads, get ready for some delicious shoe porn.

The premium Italian sneaker brand Lotto Leggenda is now available in South Africa through Bearded Monkey (who stocks some other seriously cool styles btw). Lotto Leggenda already has a footpring in 60 countries worldwide, and now you can get their kicks on our shores.

The brand has a rich Italian heritage, offering a fashionable product for people who live a runaround, active, refined lifestyle (or those who just like comfortable, damn cool shoes). Their latest range has been inspired by 70s and 80s sportswear styles that they’ve reinterpreted, adding a modern-day touch.

The brand is essentially going back to its roots, being founded in 1973 in the footwear district of Montebelluna, Italy. The initial sports footwear launch included tennis, basketball, volleyball, track and field and soccer shoes and Lotto establishes itself as a leader in the sporting goods industry.

In the 80’s, Lotto went global, reaching over 60 countries, with massive sponsorships for sporting heroes like Dino Zoff, star goalkeeper for Italy in the World Cup. Since then the brand has grown as a fashion statement, and this year, 2017, Lotto could be found walking the catwalk in Milan with creative director Damir Doma.

Their FW pieces show off moody shades in retro styles, while their summer collection will introduce really exciting, feminine and edgy pieces. I love their Impressions line, as well as Flower Pack. And if you love yourself some 80s throwback, check out the Tokyo collection. Oooh, and check out the Autograph: Gold Melange style. I adore it!
