Trying out an after-episode podcast | 9Lives
Reading Time: 2 min

Ever watched an episode of your favourite series and just couldn’t stop thinking about it the day after? Especially those episodes with plot-twists or weird turn of events mid-season.

For those times when you don’t have anybody to discuss last night’s episode with – consider listening to an after-episode podcast.

The idea of listening to a podcast about series that you have already seen does seem odd, but it can be very entertaining and interesting to listen to other people’s thoughts, resonating with their opinions or hearing a different viewpoint.

If you are interested in trying one out, have a listen to one of these podcasts:

Bald Move

My first attempt at trying out an after-episode podcast was an American Horror Story recap. I listened to the podcast after watching the episode the previous night; and I must say it was very entertaining to listen to what happened from other people’s perspectives.

Bald Move has various series that they follow episode by episode, which includes classics like Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Westworld, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad and A LOT more!

So, if you’re as into series as they are – check it out here.

Very Good TV – Indiewire

Indiewire takes a different spin on things, where they engage in conversations about topics on different series in general instead of following the series episode by episode. I listened to the episode TV is the Best Medicine: Why Some Shows Are Better Than Others When You’re Sick — Very Good TV Podcast, as I was feeling a bit under the weather.

Talking about which series would be best to watch when you’re sick in bed, and which is best to avoid during this time, the episode was surprisingly interesting and I saved it to my list of things to do when I’m on sick leave again.

Other episodes include topics like
Is Horror TV Scarier Today Because It Can Be Gorier?; So, About a BREAKING BAD Movie..; and Guessing How Long Some Shows Have Been On!
