Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or just don’t feeling like eating meat, finding restaurants that cater for more plant-based eaters can be difficult. This is especially true when you don’t feel like another meal that consists solely of sides like fries and garden salad. We’ve compiled a list of the best vegetarian restaurants in the Cape Winelands.

Hudsons – The Burger Joint

Everyone gets that moment when they absolutely crave a burger. Hudsons has a couple of pre-styled vegetarian burger options and also offers the option to build your own. As an added bonus, the patties are vegan! They also have a great range of sides and appetisers, along with a pretty extensive drinks range.

The menu changes seasonally, often daily, thanks to the fact that Foliage is a unique “foraging” restaurant. The chef himself can often be found in the surroundings, searching for the day’s ingredients. Small and specially crafted, the menu won’t be a source of indecision. Not sure which wine to order with your meal? Not to worry, the perfect selection has already been made.
