Who else is completely obsessed with jumpsuits? | 9Lives

Who doesn’t love an all-in-one outfit.

Jumpsuits fit pretty perfectly with my current desire to simplify my life and my wardrobe, and they make for a seriously fun, comfortable and easy look. I’ll be straight with you though, I’ve been struggling long and hard to find one that actually looks decent. The trick is not to look like a giant toddler in a playsuit.

Recently I’ve spotted a couple of options with wider, flared legs, which makes all the difference to bring balance. Combine that with a cinched waist and you get a pretty elegant figure. I can also really vouch for black or denim, and slightly thicker fabrics that don’t hang too limply.

I found this one by Sitting Pretty at Mungo and Jemima and I instantly loved it. I love pairing it with a long blazer and brogues, a leather jacket and sneakers or simply a pair of leather sandals. It’s so easy to work with.

For this look I combined it with a few of my other current wardrobe favourites:  A pair of silver, soft leather lace-ups by Green Cross, my Missibaba leather earrings, and a vintage woven bag I got at Nest in Stellenbosch.

How would you wear it?

I am a lifestyle blogger from Cape Town trying to find the best ways to spend my time, take care of my body and express myself. I am slightly obsessed with fragrances, sneakers, Jamie Oliver and Masterchef Australia. Oh, and I probably drink way too much wine.
