Lumico Lockdown Living: The songs we listen to on repeat! | 9Lives
Reading Time: 2 min

For some unknown reason, the Lumico office decided that an Office DJ is part of my job description. At first, the muso in me jumped at the opportunity until I received quite the hate from different corners of the office when I decided that metal will be the theme of the day (I don’t blame them – metal is not exactly the way you want to start your Monday morning before you pay a visit to the coffee shop next door and still taste the red wine from the weekend in your mouth). So during the lockdown, I kind off of missed everyone shouting songs my way during the day so I turned to our Slack channel to feel that bit of normal as I’m working from home.

This is what it looks like when you ask on the Lumico Corona Chats Slack channel for music requests. Luckily for all of us Henco (the party animal in front of you) doesn’t read Slack messages.

The Lumico Lockdown Living playlist is a bit of all my colleagues wrapped up in good lyrics and swaying-along-melodies:

The VaaIie girl with a laugh better than the joke itself. If you’ve lost me in the crowd, look for the red hat. Or the shoulder pads. Or the floral-patterned blazer. I’ve got a winner of a party trick, just give me a shot of tequila and a raw egg, and if you’re not sure how to start the conversation, don’t worry. I’ve got you covered.
