This weekend was one for the books! We ventured off on a customised road trip and tour of the Cape Winelands with Western Cape Tours & Transport. The road trip took us to a few hidden gems in the area.

Upon arrival in Worcester, we checked into a beautiful boutique hotel, The Habit Guest House. We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us settle in. A scenic poolside invited us for a swim, whereafter we enjoyed the rest of the day at leisure.

An early Saturday breakfast was complete with french toast and creamy cappuccino from The Barn Coffee Shop and Art Gallery, a beautiful and quaint cafe and art gallery in the heart of Worcester. After a delicious brekkie, we made our way to Robertson.

Our first of two stops in Robertson was at the gorgeous Springfield Wine Estate for a midday wine tasting & chill experience. We then ventured off into the farmlands and visited the Saggy Stone Restaurant & Brewery, where we had some tasty ribs and beer battered onion rings that are to die for. After filling our tummies with some delicious food, we were off to meet with the wonderful owner of the brewery, Adrian, who showed us the ins and outs of brewing your own beer.

Worcester and Robertson was definitely a great experience and a worthy tick off my bucket list of local tours around the Western Cape.  A special thanks to the team at Western Cape Tours & Transport for making my moments last! We had a hassle free road trip and were able to enjoy our adventure fully and move around with ease.
