Winter is the best time for locals to visit our top restaurants, with a variety of specials that make the experience a bit more pocket-friendly. Acclaimed winelands restaurant Terroir is luring us in with two exciting offers, a perfect way to escape the chill.

From May to September guests can enjoy their choice of two dishes (starter/main or main/dessert) from Terroir’s French-inspired chalkboard menu for just R295 per person. This price also includes a glass of Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection wine.

Chef Michael Broughton has come up with an additional offer of a chef’s choice of four courses at R450 p/p including a glass of Kleine Zalze’s award-winning wines.

The winter special offer is valid from 2 May to 30 September, at both lunch and dinner. Individual à la carte orders can still be made, and will be charged at the listed menu price.

For the last few years Terroir has consistently gotten top honours from foodie folk and critics alike. Situated in the high end De Zalze golf estate, you can pick a spot inside or under the trees and enjoy a leisurely, luxury experience.

Terroir is open for lunch from Tuesdays to Sundays from 12h00 – 14h30 and for dinner from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 18h30 – 21h00. Advance reservations are highly recommended. To book call 021 880-8167 or email .

Take note that Terroir will be closed for their annual winter break from 25 June 2018 and re-opening on 17 July 2018.

I am a lifestyle blogger from Cape Town trying to find the best ways to spend my time, take care of my body and express myself. I am slightly obsessed with fragrances, sneakers, Jamie Oliver and Masterchef Australia. Oh, and I probably drink way too much wine.
